د. مينا فوزي

An Arabic site for an obstetrics and gynaecology consultant in Cairo. Two kinds of visit, booked two different ways.

A clinic visit and an online consultation are not the same job. The clinic visit is a place in the waiting room, so the site hands that patient straight to the clinic’s WhatsApp with the request already written.

The online consultation is where the site does the work. There is no reception desk to take the fee and no one to send the link, so the booking has to collect the medical history, take the payment and deliver the meeting by itself — before the doctor and the patient have spoken at all.

From a free slot to a link on WhatsApp.

An online consultation from start to finish. Every appointment is a fixed fifteen minutes.

01

Choose the slot

Only the times still open are offered.

02

Medical questionnaire

The case history is filled in before anything is paid.

03

Payment

Through the online payment gateway — in pounds inside Egypt, converted to dollars outside it.

04

Confirmation

Sent to WhatsApp straight away, with the Google Meet link.

05

The consultation

Fifteen minutes on Google Meet, at the time that was booked.

Four questions patients ask every day.

Each one answers in plain words and says that its result is an estimate, and the page ends on a link to book a consultation about the result.

Ovulation

The first day of the last three periods, oldest first, gives the expected ovulation day for a regular cycle.

Due date

The first day of the last period gives the expected delivery date.

Fetal weight

The week of pregnancy and the ultrasound weight place the baby on a P10–P90 percentile table: small, normal or large for its age.

Body mass index

Height and weight give the BMI, where it falls on the scale, and the healthy weight range for that height.

Everything a patient checks before she books.

Booking lookup

A booking is found by its full number or the full phone number. Partial matches are refused, so no one can browse other patients’ appointments.

Cancel and refund

A booking can be cancelled and its payment refunded up to two hours before the appointment.

Service pages

Pregnancy follow-up, high-risk pregnancy, natural birth, caesarean and ultrasound — each on its own page with its own booking link.

Articles

Medical articles in plain language, from the signs of labour to nutrition in the first trimester.

Two WhatsApp lines

A clinic visit opens the clinic’s WhatsApp with the request already written; the doctor’s own number is kept for emergencies and direct contact.

Written to her

The Arabic speaks to the patient directly, in the feminine, and the whole site reads right to left.
